2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge
A good deal for: When luxury cars aren’t luxurious enough
At $760,000 Australian dollars, this car deal may not be for the average millionaire – let alone the average person. The Cullinan Black Badge is a very luxurious SUV built by a very luxurious brand (there’s two ‘verys’ already).
The ‘Black Badge’ part adds another ‘very’ and takes it a step further. It adds extra highlights such as a more powerful engine from the standard ‘very, very’ luxurious Cullinan – a 441kW / 900Nm 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged petrol V12 – up 21kw from the standard version.
The ‘starry night’ headliner is one of the most spectacular features. The ceiling of the Cullinan Black Badge functions as a star-filled night sky using fibre-optic trickery. Look closely as shooting stars will even fly by if you’re lucky.

A good deal for: Engines that need chilled air on demand
The famous WRX water spray isn’t new. It’s been appearing on some high-performance WRX STi models for years. In a nutshell, a nozzle inside the cabin sprays water onto the car’s intercooler, allowing for a cooler engine.
Why would a driver want this? When driven hard, especially in hot weather, a turbo-charged engine like the WRX’s makes a lot of heat. To keep it working at optimal temperatures and avoid damage, the water spray feature can help.

The car-boat Amphicar was released in the early 1960s and caught the attention (and imagination) of the masses for one very distinct reason…
The vehicle is able to traverse waterways. The Amphicar is for use both on the road and in water. The underside and body of the car are smooth, sealed steel which allows it to float. At the rear, there are twin propellers.
Integration within the drivetrain allows the Model 770 to be driven in and out of the water at boat ramps and then engage the propellers.
